BREAK DOWN STIGMA THROUGH CREATIVE EXPRESSION
Through creative expression help young Canadians break down the Stigma of Mental Illness and encourage them to embrace their own Mental Wellness.
COMMUNITY SPECIFIC SUPPORT INFORMATION
Reach out to communities to learn what “connections” are working and what are not when it comes to the exchange of community specific on-line information supporting young Canadians and their families struggling with Mental Illness.
QUALITATIVE RESEARCH LOOPING BACK INTO THE PROJECT
Gather data in an evidence based research format. Traveling from town to town, build a multidimensional database reflecting community specific mental health information. Capture best practices at the community level as well as emerging regional strategies. Loop applicable information back into the project and out to communities.
ACCESSIBLE TO REMOTE COMMUNITIES
Ensure Creative Spark programs are available to remote communities via virtual “train the trainer” and local intern apprenticeship program design.
Use state-of-the-art multi-tenant portal and mobile app technology to deliver user intuitive community centric mental health information. Link dynamically “dove-tail” collaborative resources (local and regional) as well as a Creative Spark video diary (Stomp on Stigma mobile kiosk) and social networking tools (Twitter, Facebook).
* Program material is continuously refreshed by a student and mental health advisor committee.
